We are pleased to be able to present our project once again.
Discussion: Stories of refugees and their integration in Germany
17:00-20:00 14.09.2023
CITY LIBRARY AT ERNST-REUTER-PLATZ (ERNST-REUTER-PLATZ 1, 86153, AUGSBURG).
On September 14, 2023 from 17:30 to 19:30, a reading with discussion on the topic "My Flight Story and Integration in Germany" will take place in Augsburg. The event is organized by BVRE e.V. in cooperation with JunOst Bayern e.V. as part of the project "Dialogues against Racism for Strengthening Social Cohesion (In Plural)" funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration and Commissioner for Anti-Racism.
From the days-long illegal flight in a coffin across several national borders, the "culture shock" during the first encounters with the German bureaucracy to the opening of their own store or the successful university graduation in Germany - everything is conceivable and interesting for the author duo Wolfgang Kemmer and Daria Brahina from Augsburg.
They are collecting stories from people - refugees from all over the world - to publish them in a book. Wolfgang Kemmer will read some of these stories to an international audience, providing an impetus for the discussion in which everyone can tell their own story.
