The "Tür an Tür" association was founded in Augsburg in 1992 to campaign for more rights and opportunities for immigrants. It is responsible for various projects that support migrants in a professional context and runs the "Café Tür an Tür" as a cultural and social meeting place.

By women for women: The project supports women with their own migration experience. They discover their skills and develop further: linguistically, professionally and personally. In doing so, they find their way to combine family and job. The women receive confidential counselling and professional support. The programme is free of charge.
The "Augsburg Housing Project" is a cooperation between Tür an Tür-Integrationsprojekte gGmbH and Diakonisches Werk Augsburg e.V.. The project works in dialogue with volunteers and full-time staff from the areas of housing and accommodation as well as refugees and asylum. It offers various counselling, training and information services for volunteers and people looking for accommodation on the subject of housing and finding accommodation.
